going to talk about my industrial piercing right here you can’t really see it anyways i’m going to show you close up in a little bit but yeah i have um some of you guys have been asking me about an update or aftercare and all of that so i’m going to be answering all of that in this video so stay tuned [Music] as of now i think it has been around almost two years i would say since i got my piercing which sounds like such a long time i can’t believe it has been two years industrial piercings are a to heal okay it’s not an easy thing to heal first because there’s two holes second because of the angle you know it’s like it’s diagonal it’s not straight like normal piercings so let me show you what it looks like right now i’m not sure how well you can see it i hope this is better but this is what it looks like the earring that i’m wearing is obviously too long for my ears um i ordered it from amazon and they didn’t really stay like the size so before i talked about healing after carrying off that i want to pre-face a little bit about industrial piercing itself at least what i know because obviously i’m not an expert and take everything i say with a grain of salt i know like people say that all the time but honestly i’m just a person who has wanted us your piercing and this is what i was told or what i went through so when it comes to industrial piercing first things first you obviously have to choose the right ear for it i know that sounds a bit like course you have a shoes right here but your cartilage and your bones like if it’s too thin it’s not going to heal well and it might cause more damage than actually like looking good you know what i mean so obviously number one is make sure your ear is suitable for an industrial piercing if you plan on getting one because you see this part of my ear like no problem it’s fine but for the lower part my ear is really thin so i almost couldn’t get it you can see the earring very clearly in this one because it’s a very thin part of your ear i mean i think for most people like this part is really thin but anyways if it’s too thin don’t get it because it’s going to damage your ears and i it’s not going to heal well second um choose your gouge that is the term i learned when i actually got this so for earrings usually if you just get like a normal piercing it’s like 20 18 gouge for the numbers the lower the number the bigger the whole so yeah for normal earrings it’s usually 20 gouge and for industrial piercing at least the one i got it’s 14 gouge i think you can also get 16 it really depends on your ear and how suitable it is i think 14 is the standard for industrial piercing i’m not sure don’t quote me on that that is what i also have to look out for whenever i buy an earring is to make sure that it fits the right gouge of my ear next is the healing process i will say for me it took a while for it to actually heal heal i think to this day even though it’s been two years if i were to take it out for a long time and not have an earring in when i put it back in i’m pretty sure it’s gonna hurt for the first couple of days it was really bad i mean really bad as in it looks really bad it also hurts a bit bad as well like when i actually got it done it doesn’t hurt but the healing part is a part where it’s actually a bit of a first couple days it was throbbing it looks it looks like a wound you know because obviously it is a wound you just punctured something through your ear if in the healing process it starts to look extremely gnarly like there’s blood coming out of it all the time or there’s like stuff coming out a lot and it’s throbbing a lot then obviously something is wrong but for me it does look like it’s throbbing it does have blood coming out but it’s not to that extent also one thing when blood comes out don’t don’t pick it you know let it come out let it dry and then clean your ears the point being don’t keep touching your piercing that is so freaking important especially once you just get it done like don’t touch it okay if it’s not necessary don’t touch it don’t twist the thing don’t take it out obviously like that is a no-brainer but don’t take it out don’t touch it if you don’t have to only touch it when you’re cleaning which is my next point when it comes to cleaning you have to be very very delicate on the first couple of days so what i did was i got a bar soap get one that doesn’t have any fragrance or chemicals like not too much chemicals and it’s just get like the sheep ass barso that is antibacterial what i did was i got this bar soap and i create like bubble from it you know i just like literally rub it against my hand so that i have some bubble is that called a bubble like some foamy bubble from the soap right once i have that i do like this so that i create like a little bundle of bubble if that makes sense so once i have that i put it on my piercing so it’s here and here i try to not touch it i only put the bubble on it you know what i mean like don’t don’t like do like this and this try to be gentle put the bubble on you don’t have to touch it obviously try to get like the inside as well wash it and then dry it so when i dry it i take a cotton bud and i just very very gently try to clean the area that is mostly how i clean the area as well when i’m not using the bubble thing i clean it with a cotton bud dipped in alcohol so i clean it once a day in the morning because usually when i wake up there’s gonna be some blood on it so usually yeah that’s when i clean it in the morning when i take a shower i’ll do that and then i don’t touch it for the rest of the day i did it until it’s not throbbing that much anymore and there’s not that much blood coming out i remember once it healed i use a cotton bud with alcohol to clean it because i think it’s not necessary to actually use like a soap anymore the point being you want to keep it clean keep it very very clean i think about two months after i got it done i went on a scuba trip with my parents it’s not throbbing anymore there’s no blood coming out so that’s when i know i can go into the ocean yeah that is also one important thing like don’t take baths go swimming when you first when it’s fresh with that being said a couple of months went by i went to the scuba trip um i was in the ocean nothing happened the only part that really hurt is when i put on the goggles and the straps kinda it’s like pressing against the piercing and that hurts like a however after that i came back to japan and there are occasions where i have to take out my piercings so i took it out the taking out part is fine it doesn’t hurt at all it’s the part where you have to put it back in again like it has been a couple months it has healed kinda but it still hurts so bad whenever i have to put it back in especially because it is diagonal it’s really hard to see where exactly is the freaking hole like for this part because this part you can see right for this part it’s like you put it in you think it’s the right angle but it’s not just it keeps poking around causing more damage to the wound so that made me realize that i think it takes at least a year for an industrial piercing to completely heal because when i say completely heal i mean if you take it out put it back in there’s not going to be any blood any throbbing nowadays i don’t really take it out anymore because i don’t have to i only take it out when i have to change it when i want to change it i take it out and that is like no problem with at all if you just take it out and put it back in it’s really easy but if you start letting it heal for a little bit it is so hard to put it back in those are a couple of things that i want you to keep in mind whenever you if you want to get in an industrial piercing make sure that you do your research on the place that you are getting your piercing done make sure that they are professional it is causing a wound to your body so make sure that you get it done at a place that is professional hygienic and that it’s not sketchy yeah i think that is it for my industrial piercing video i hope it is helpful i know i’m a little bit all over the place with this one but yeah that’s an update for this it’s completely healed now thank god thank you so much for watching this video if you haven’t subscribed please please do comment down below if there is a particular type of video that you want me to make not type if there’s a video you want me to make i hope you have an awesome day and stay healthy people bye [Music] “, der Artikel ist
